DJ Andy Mc
In addition to live
performances, Andy is available
to DJ your wedding or special event.
There are plenty of
websites out there packed full of advice for brides and grooms. Here are just
a few tips from the DJ's perspective that will help you have a great dance party
at your reception.
- If you haven't booked your photographers
for the whole night, make sure you have them through your first dances and
maybe the bouquet toss as well.
- Consider wedding slippers or
flip flops for the bride and bridesmaids. Those strappy heels might look great,
but after six or seven hours of running around in them, you'll want to slip
into something more comfortable for dancing.
- Make sure to have the wedding
YOU want, but be considerate of your guests, too. Grandma and Grandpa probably
won't want to throw down with Flo Rida at 7:30 in the evening. Tell your DJ
what kind of music you want (and what you DON'T want), but give him a little
elbow room to work with the crowd.
- If you have a shuttle bus running
guests to a hotel at the end of the night, be sure you have a VERY clear understanding
of when the last shuttle will run. If you tell your DJ you want the last song
played at midnight, but the last shuttle runs at 11:40, your dance will end
with a fizzle instead of a bang.
- Finally, relax and enjoy the
night. No one ever looked back and thought, "I wish I'd made my wedding
"Thank you so
much for everything that you did to help make our event run smoothly. This day
would not have been possible without your dedication and hard work."
"Our DJ was PERFECT!
I got so many compliments that he was the best DJ our guests had ever heard
at a wedding."
